Resilience - 18th October, 2021.

It is no surprise when we say that workouts can be challenging, fun, tiring and satisfying. They make you feel great and gives you a weird sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
The number of benefits that working out has on your body is nothing short of life-changing. With this change, we learn to adapt, persevere, and go on even in the harshest of conditions- this is resilience.
Our bodies go under stress when we exercise - challenges begin to feel tough. Still, we all have been there, the point where we pushed ourselves to go just a bit more, held out for a second more, and went a few more meters.
Research has shown that working out increases our tolerance to pain; how we deal with pain changes entirely. When you come to accept pain, you also come to accept change and strength in your life.
Adapting to any change has been one of the most significant indicators of success and has grit- that is part of resilience. You build resilience slowly and over time through physical trials and through breaking your limits one by one.
One day you look behind and realize how easy some things have become- dealing with other humans, your levels of alertness in a given situation, and your emotional response to your surroundings; they change for the better.
Fitness has benefits and can be challenging, but its benefits make it all worth it in the end.
