PCOS: Conquering the Unconquerable

Periods, Pregnancy, Menopause, Child Birth, and PCOS; women deal with hard trials, which are biological and social. Yet amongst this vast chaos of the world, they persevere.
Struggle, and move forward where men give up.
Today, we would like to discuss another biological trial that women face, The disorder known as PCOS.
PCOS, or PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome, is a complex heterogeneous endocrine disorder, in simple terms - It is a hormonal disorder exclusively present in women, caused by the excess of Androgens(The male sex hormone).
This imbalance of hormones causes irregular periods, hormonal imbalance, and insulin resistance.
PCOS affects 12-15% of the population of women. That is a LOT of women.
PCOS also is incurable, and the cause of this disease is yet unknown, and now here comes the kicker obesity makes it worse, but losing weight when you have PCOS is difficult. Does that mean you give up if you are unfit and have PCOS? Not in a million years.
It means you must persevere through, be an unstoppable force of nature.
Changing your lifestyle and diet is crucial in tackling PCOS. Will it be easy? Unlikely. Will it be worth the effort? Absolutely.
Balanced fitness and dietary lifestyle ensure that the hormonal imbalance in your body remains relatively stable.
