What is this Intermittent Fasting?!?!

You will find a lot of information about Intermittent Fasting if you google it. Most of you have done that by now and haven't found anything worthy of trusting. Let me give you something you can take away from this post.

Intermittent Fasting is just a fancy way of basic fasting. You are just playing around with different times to see what best suits your lifestyle. The most common one is - fasting for 16 hours and eating only in an 8 hour window. It is not a compulsion to start here with 16:8. You can even start from 12:12 where you have 12 hours of fasting and 12 hours of an eating window.

Also, this is not something you should start only to stop 10 days later. This isn't some challenge. If you want to do this, make it a way of life. Do it for at least for 4 weeks before considering if this is working for you or not. Remember - 4 WEEKS.

What I recommend?

Start with 12:12 or 14:10. Stick with it for 2-3 weeks, then slowly start going into it 1 hour at a time, 3 weeks at a time. Slow and steady is the name of the game people!


Reason Fasting works?

Because you are shortening your window of eating, there is only 'so much food' you can eat. And hence, you get in less calories! Voila.. Weight Loss process ACTIVATED!!!

There's no black magic going on here. Just plain old pranking your brain.
